Alvaston

Alvaston is a large suburb of Derby, lying 2 miles South of the City Centre. It has a large busy shopping centre at the very busy junction of London Road and the ring road. The building of the ring road virtually divided Alvaston in two and development has continued, especially over the last decade or so, South East of Coronation Ave along Shardlow Road.
