Hello, and welcome to the first edition of the BB&J commercial property update.
We believe communication with clients and professional contacts is essential. The ability to effectively communicate helps us all to deliver a quality service, and hopefully to grow our business.
This is the aim of our newsletter:- to bring you details of properties available; deals done; news of what's happening in the commercial property market and to discuss other issues which will be of interest.
Communication is of course, very much a two-way thing. So if any of our articles prompts a response, or if you need more information on one of our properties or developments, or indeed if we can help you or your clients, please do get in touch.

December Derby City Sales Agreed at £2Million Pounds
|
| |
December may have been a quiet time in some sectors of the property market, but BB&J have agreed sales totaling over £2million for 3 investment properties in Derby city centre.
Martin Langsdale, acting for the vendors, commented "clearly there is a demand for investment property in Derby, drawn at least in part by the continuing regeneration of the city. At an average selling price of £600,000 each, these diverse properties all attracted substantial interest"

Cathedral Quarter Business Improvement District - YES |
|
| |
November 2007 saw a resounding Yes vote by the participants in what has become known as the Cathedral Quarter Derby BID (Business Improvement District). The BID board, set up in December '06, was chaired by Chris Brown, consultant and previous partner at Boxall Brown & Jones, and made up of people from the Cathedral Quarter to represent traders, professionals and shop keepers in the BID area.
"The commercial opportunities now and in the next five years (the life of the current BID) are immense" commented Chris, "we are looking at massive inward investment and substantial commercial growth to unlock the potential of this outstanding area. Gone are the days of "this is only Derby..." we are now in the best position to enhance, promote and be proud of our 'unique' Cathedral Quarter!".
