First Time Buyer Event

Derbyshire development open day to offer expert advice to potential buyers in East Midlands – as well as paying the legal fees

EXPERTS from Derbyshire-based financial advisors Oviso and the Government’s Help To Buy scheme will be offering advice to First Time Buyers at an open event near Ripley.

Ginnis New Homes, the housing developers behind the stunning Deer Park – a collection of 30 three and four-bedroom homes in the Derbyshire market town – will also be joined by joint selling agents Boxall Brown & Jones and Elders on Saturday, April 27 from 11am-4pm.

Visitors will be able to view the showhome at Deer Park and can also take advantage of special offers – including up to £500 of legal fees paid on completion and a £500 garden centre voucher to those who reserve their plot on the day.

There will be an exclusive sneak-peek at Deer Park’s four-bedroom home – The Richmond – which comes with £12,000 worth of extras for just £330,000. They include an upgraded kitchen with solid wood doors and integrated Bosch appliances.

Darren Farnan, marketing manager at Ginnis New Homes, said: “People are very taken by Deer Park’s location, because it benefits from the best of both town and countryside and already has a wonderful community feel.

“Because we are an independent family-run developer, our homes are different to many being built elsewhere in the area. We like to offer something a little bit different.

”A couple of our properties – including our stunning four-bedroom family home – are ready to move into while the others have a wide range of luxurious upgrades available.

“Plots 10 and 11 boast a superior location, with exceptional views of the Derbyshire countryside, and are just a 10-minute walk into the busy market town of Ripley with all its amenities.”

The Deer Park development, which boasts a turnkey finish and super-fast broadband, provides views across the Amber Valley. It is just minutes away from Sainsbury’s supermarket in Bridle Lane and a short drive into the centre of Ripley. It’s a short walk, too, to St John’s CoE Primary School; rated ‘Good’ by Government inspectors Ofsted.

Each Deer Park home features high ceilings, period-style windows, open-plan kitchens, downstairs WCs and built-in storage space. It’s a five-minute drive into the town centre and has good access to the M1 motorway.

The development has recently taken delivery of several colourful planters from Ripley-based Cottage Nursery and, for Easter, they will be giving away chocolate eggs to anyone visiting the site.
